Full Moon in Cancer
A vivid dream, a profound healing lesson!

Astrology is not my expertise. Nonetheless, I carefully follow the lunar and seasonal cycles because the quality of energy around and within us varies throughout them. Self-healing is about connecting to this universal energy and being aware of its effects on our physical health, emotions and spirituality.
Today is the first full moon of 2023. It happens to be the full moon in the astrological sign of Cancer. As a water sign, Cancer likes moving freely like a spring birthing energetically out of mother Earth and running its course to reach the vast ocean later in life. Cancer is also sensitive and compassionate to the point of holding other people's emotions.
This introduction was necessary to understand the fall of this dream.
Last night, I had this vivid dream.
In a dark and infinite space, a kind and sensitive lady was interacting with many people around.
These people started getting closer to her; the closer they got, the stickier she felt, to the point that she couldn't move an inch. Then, she wanted to escape, but like glue, each move she made bounced back to stillness. So, following her true nature, she gathered her strength, channelled her energy with calm determination, and wrestled to pull herself out of what she felt was a waste dump.
Eventually, she could retreat into a quiet room behind closed doors to gather her breath. Right next to her, another person was standing, appearing to be calm, respectful and supportive. For a moment, she reflected on her overwhelming experience. She realised that she allowed herself to be swamped by people's fears, anxiety and frustrations. Like you squeeze the juice out of a lemon, she wanted to shake herself up and set free.
The supportive person offered her to jump into a massive chariot. They flew out of the room and in the air over the sticky horde to reach a safer space. As they landed in a beautiful exotic leafy park with ancient buildings providing hiding space, it wasn't long before the sticky horde appeared again and engulfed them. The supportive person ran away and never returned whilst the lady was pushed to the ground by the crowd.
"Enough is enough!" she said to herself. Once more, she gathered her inner strength, channelled her energy, stood up, and kindly encouraged people to step back to give her space. Then she said loudly but like a pledge to herself: "People's frustration and anxiety aren't mine. Their fears are not mine either. I have accumulated so many layers of dirt for so long that I became a dumping place full of sticky dampness. I am peeling off these layers right now, so I am myself. Because I am rooted in the here and now and connected to my true path, I can freely express myself and compassionately care for people". The lady thanked the sticky horde for the lesson and walked her path.
The dream ended here.
The healing lessons of this vivid dream are, I believe, profound.
Hence the reason for sharing this experience with you.
First, self-healing is unpredictable and can take all shapes and forms. The manifestations can be physical, emotional or spiritual. We need to trust the process and embrace changes when they occur.
Second, humankind is energy beings tightly linked to the universal phenomenons. This weird coincidence between the energy of this Full Moon and the theme of this dream is astonishing.
Third, continuously escaping our challenges because it is too difficult to resolve or because we fear the uncertainty of the healing process is not an option. The longer we push back, the more challenges come to us, as if life wanted to force us to resolve them for our own good. So why wait?

Reflecting on our human experience on Earth
Tuning into our souls for more authenticity.
