Connection with the outside world ignites your inner flame
Fourth step of our WAY OF HEALTH Model ™
Mindfully observing and connecting with Nature allows us to unveil the secret of life and of the true purpose of our very existence. Engaging and interacting with others provides exposure to new ideas or viewpoints and an opportunity to assimilate new ideas or thoughts into the centre of ourselves.
The acknowledgement of our core beliefs and emotional responses help us to mitigate our individual identity and function in a group, while contributing towards that group and our society identity, our ‘outside’ self. Warmth, compassion, joy and love are natural gifts we receive from, and offer to, our surrounding environment, this assuming we have found that balance between self-protection of our emotional core and receptivity to external influences.
Imagining the “I” and the “you” as the two distinct poles of a magnet. Each pole has its own existence and purpose, but because they are different yet with equal strength, they are attracted to one another; by connecting they form a third entity, a unified, harmonious one that exhibits new qualities and existence purposes. This is the cycle of co-creation.
Breathing into your Heart Chakra to peel off the emotional layers and allow your eyes to shine and your heart-mind to radiate a seamless current of connectivity. Imagining the sunlight boxed up in a deep dark cave – the thickness of the stone would prevent the light to shine out and provide the luminous vitality that warms you up.
Celebrating the healing power of your hands. Touch is natural, and we all have this innate capability. A helping hand, a warming, calming, creating, or talking hand is a non-verbal communication; it is also an alchemy, a process that connects your heart-mind with someone else’s and create a feeling of completeness and relief on both sides of the connection.
Dropping your guard, exposing yourself to the unknown, trusting your instinct and sharpening your senses, so you can build relationship based on unconditional love. Like a mature willow tree, you are resourceful and your natural ability to adapt allows you to get on with your life through wind and rain, meeting challenges with resilience, telling the story of your soul through the music of your voice, bringing and receiving warmth and joy even under the moonlight.
This subtle balance between healthy connections and our heart health is subject not only to our ability to face our fears and go forward in life but also to our sense of self-preservation and connectivity to our perceived destiny. Imagine a reset button that we could press at any time, whenever we need, to washout pain or recharge our energy, so we keep the body-mind-spirit circle as pure as possible.
